Why teams look for a Calendly alternative

Calendly is a well known scheduler and a fair choice for individuals. Teams usually start comparing when round robin and routing come into play, because those features sit on the higher per seat plan and the bill grows with every rep, contractor or interviewer you add.

CalendarMeeting takes the other approach. A plan covers a workspace with a host limit, so the cost of adding a seventh rep or a part time closer is zero until you pass the limit.

Honest price comparison

Calendly lists its Teams plan, which includes round robin and routing, at $16 per seat per month on its public pricing page, and its Standard plan at $10 per seat. Standard does not include round robin or routing. Enterprise starts at $15,000 a year with a 50 seat minimum. Check their site for the current billing terms before you decide.

CalendarMeeting Plus includes round robin, collective availability and routing forms for up to 15 hosts at $149 a month, or $74.50 a month billed yearly. At 10 seats the listed Calendly Teams price is $160, and at 15 seats it is $240. Below about nine seats, the per seat plan is cheaper, and that is a fair reason to pick it.

Where Calendly is the better choice

If you are one person, or a team of three to eight who only need simple booking, a per seat plan is cheap and the brand is familiar to your prospects. Calendly also has a long list of integrations. If you depend on one specific integration, check that it exists in both tools before moving.

Moving over in an afternoon

  • Connect each rep calendar and set availability
  • Recreate your meeting types and booking questions
  • Build one routing form for your contact or pricing page
  • Swap the links in your website, email signatures and sequences
  • Keep the old links running until the last booked meeting has passed
